Privacy Notice – African Water Forum Registration Platform
The African Water Forum is jointly organized by the World Bank Group, the Ministry of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation of the Republic of Chad, and Concerto (the “Organizers”).
By submitting this registration form, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information by the Organizers for the purposes of managing your participation in the African Water Forum.
Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide through this registration form, including your name, title, organization, contact details, nationality, passport information (where applicable), accommodation and travel-related information, and any other information required to process your registration.

- Registration and accreditation for the Forum;
- Badge production and access management;
- Participant communications;
- Visa support, accommodation, transport and other logistical arrangements where applicable;
- Security, protocol and operational planning;
- Event reporting and audit requirements.
Your information may be accessed and processed by the Organizers and shared, where necessary, with authorized government authorities, venue operators, security providers, logistics providers, accommodation providers, accreditation teams and other service providers directly involved in the planning and delivery of the Forum. Personal information may be processed in different jurisdictions by the Organizers and their authorized service providers for the purposes described in this Notice. Appropriate measures will be taken to protect personal information during such transfers.

Data Retention Personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above. Registration data will generally be retained for up to 24 months after the conclusion of the Forum, after which it will be securely deleted, anonymized or archived where required by law, audit, financial, security or administrative obligations.
