Ongoing reforms

Chad’s 2030 National Development Plan (NDP) defines medium-term economic priorities to strengthen the territory’s attractiveness for public and private investors.

Chad is at a pivotal moment in its history

Chad has laid the foundations for a profound transformation of public action around a modernized, more transparent governance that is closer to citizens. In 2022, Chad reached a major political milestone with the Inclusive and Sovereign National Dialogue which laid the foundations for stable governance and a return to constitutional order. This initiative is a continuation of the reforms undertaken since 2014 to modernize and make public finance management more transparent, thus promoting attractiveness for international partners.

In recent years, Chad has also initiated a positive economic dynamic, supported by international donors, and has promoted a favorable business environment that the Chad Connection 2030 plan intends to multiply.
