Chad Connection 2030
Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno
President of the Republic of Chad
“Chad is confidently entering a new era of growth, driven by a bold vision and a strong commitment to economic and social progress.
As part of our path toward inclusive and sustainable development, and in line with my vision for the nation, I am launching Chad Connection 2030, an unprecedented strategic plan laying the foundation for a modern, connected, open, competitive, and attractive Chad. This initiative reflects our ambition to build a diversified, thriving, and future-oriented economy.
In this context, our goal is to position Chad as a hub for growth and innovation in Central Africa and the Sahel, by optimizing our infrastructure, enhancing our natural and cultural resources, and strengthening our human capital.”
A new ambition
driven by
Chad Connection 2030
Chad Connection 2030 is built around a central concept: connection. Connection with its internal and external geography. Connection with its heritage as the cradle of humanity. Connection with its potential to build a diversified and inclusive economy.
This bold vision aims to fully reveal Chad’s role as a strategic crossroads at the heart of Africa:
Chad,
a logistics hub
at the heart
of Africa
Located in the heart of the African continent, Chad shares borders with Libya, Sudan, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Nigeria, and Niger. Its central position places it at the crossroads of North Africa, West Africa, and the Sahel. Chad sits at the intersection of three major regional economic zones: the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD). Its location makes Chad a strategic hub and an attractive destination for investment.
